It’s hard to believe that it has been over fifteen years since the death of Tupac Amaru Shakur.

As a unique way to celebrate the life of the poet, son and man that was Tupac Amaru Shakur, I created the Tupac Project.

I am releasing a high resolution 300 dpi 16×13 inch image under a creative commons license

This license will allow artists to create non-commercial derivative works of art from my original image at no cost.

Send in images of works and projects that you create so that we can build a living, breathing, evolving gallery of unique artistic interpretations of this quiet moment I captured of Tupac in Los Angeles in 1995.

I look forward to seeing examples of creative work that will not only provide a tribute, but also inspire you to create without having to worry about the restrictions of copyright.

Let’s make this project an example that others can follow.
